Hailing from Moscow. S.K.A.M. is currently one of the most exciting and relevant representatives of the electronic dance scene. Featuring a colorful personality in sound, his style absorbed the best of Deep House, Techno and House music. Always ahead of time and looking for new and enveloping by sound, S.K.A.M. is moving forward.
Tests and experiments in music production happened at the beginning of the 2000’s. His first release came out in 2007 – and since then he has regularly pleased its fans with new tracks and remixes.
The first most important step in Maxim’s career was the release of the British record label “Gruuv “ in April 2012. Two original tracks “Rush Hour” and “Outside The Box”, as well as remixes from Audiojack and Homework, literally occupied tops and charts of the largest online store “Beatport”. The next step was EP on the Alive Recodings with remixes by Tom Budden, Cromby and Shadow Child, which was nominated for “best remix 2012” on the version of DJ MAG “Best Of British” award.
The three following releases are no less important, caught in the first rows at Beatport. One of them is the remix by Pavel Petrov – “Ushuaia”, released on Witty Tunes; original track S.K.A.M. – “I Roll & Rock”, via Mr.Nice Guy which is owned by Jesse Perez, climbing on the 8th place; and remix of Diego Moreno – Let’s Dip (Zoo: Technique) was on top of the charts for a long time. Also has not gone unnoticed the record on the label by Betoko – “Chilli Mint Music”, with remixes by Kolombo, Toky and Los Suruba, which is part of a collection of well-known “Defected”.
Then followed releases by S.K.A.M. at the leading European labels including OFF Recordings, with the original track which was made with Hector Couto, Exploited, Akbal Music, Electronique Digital, Exotic Refreshment, Digital Delight, NastyFunk Records, Highway Records and many others.
In the summer 2012 S.K.A.M. became an artist and is now part of roster “Kumasi Music Management”, based in London which organizes events around the world for 2020:Vision, Poker Flat, Mixmag, Air London, Tsuba, Cecille, Futureboogie, Resident Advisor, R & S, Electric Boogie, Leftroom, Shoreditch Day + Night etc.. They made numerous successful parties in England, with names such as Ben Pearce, Kolombo, Climbers, Adeline, HNQO, Flashmob, No Artifical Colours, Lovebirds, Kreature, Amine Edge & DANCE, Matt Fear, Dirty Channels, Monte, Freakme, Rekreation and many others…
They also released Kumasi Music on the same label with the original track and remixes by Kreature S.K.A.M., Kolombo and Markas, which has received great support from the Resident Advisor.
S.K.A.M.’s works occupy a worthy place in charts and sets of well-known DJ’s and radio stations. Day by day he is gaining his momentum and actively touring worldwide. His growing popularity as a musician and a DJ – is a logical extension of his talent.
