Biography

Adam Banks is an up and coming DJ/Producer from London. Coming from a family of Jazz musicians, Adam has been musically involved from a young age. Originally training classically in the Guitar from the age of 7, he continued to develop as a Guitarist until his late teens when electronic music grabbed his attention.

Adam began producing Progressive House from the age of 18 and quickly secured his debut EP on Sam Young’s London based imprint NOD Factor Records. Adam’s musical taste developed over the following year after moving to Leeds to study at University. This residency saw him warm up for acts like Amirali, Hot Since 82, Maxxi Soundsystem, Coni, Matt Fear, Jonny Cade and many more.

In the past 3 years Adam has signed music on a wide array of record labels including Kumasi Music, Betoko’s Chilli Mint Music, Supernova’s Lapsus Music, Love Not Money Records, Cream Couture Records, Sleazy Deep, Union Jack Records, Molotov21, Nin92wo, Disclosure Crew, Loverdose’s Prison Entertainment and many more. He has also been remixed by artists like Matt Fear, Kreature, Cubiq and Newbie Nerdz, and has had the chance to remix for underground heroes including Dashdot and Nikitin.
